Industry Programme

The EIFF industry programme will include an impactful series of panels and networking opportunities for Scottish and international creatives to engage with industry experts from around the world. The Festival welcomes industry applications from people from a range of backgrounds and experiences; from those making their way into the screen industries to people looking to support a new generation of talent.

Industry Accreditation is priced at £80 (inc VAT) and £65 concessions which include current students across any discipline (aged 18+) and people who may be in receipt of benefits. For more details and to apply, please register via the EIFF form online.

The industry programme includes access to Press and Industry (P&I) screenings, taking in World Premieres and selected UK premieres across the EIFF programme, plus access to guest speaker events, three industry panel events (to be announced soon), nightly filmmaker networking drinks and industry networking brunches. Standby industry tickets for select public screenings at the Cameo Cinema and select public screenings across EIFF venues will be available, along with concession ticket prices for public screenings and opportunities to connect with other delegates.

Paul Ridd, Festival Director has said: “We are thrilled to welcome press and industry from all over to enjoy the extraordinarily high standard of work we're showing. Bring on the reviews and coverage which means so much to our filmmakers, many of whom will be world-premiering work with us.

Our industry programme meanwhile is shaping up to be something special. From Board to management to team, we have impressive combined experience, networks and knowledge across production, distribution and exhibition. So since Day 1 we've been thinking about what would actually be most practical, useful and fun to bring to an industry programme for our delegates and passholders.

Expect fascinating conversations with iconic filmmakers, useful knowledge-sharing panels, and relaxed, effective networking sessions. We also want to bridge a gap between the Festival and all that is happening in Edinburgh in August, creating opportunities for creatives across film and the performing arts to meet, mingle and share work.

EIFF 2024 is supported by Screen Scotland and the Industry Programme is backed by EXPO funding from the Scottish Government through Creative Scotland.

Further details on this year’s EIFF industry programme will be announced in the coming weeks.

EIFF industry delegates are welcome to register with Screen Fringe, a Screen Scotland-backed programme delivered in partnership with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society. Open to TV and film professionals, Screen Fringe offers a concierge service to delegates to help discover the best theatre and comedy talent from Scotland, the UK and beyond. EIFF industry delegates who want to engage with the Edinburgh Festivals to find talent and pursue opportunities for screen adaptation can accredit via the Fringe Society's Arts Industry page.

Press and Industry accreditation for the Festival closes on 2 August.
